Sun God Medicinals Launches First OLCC-Approved Certified Organic Hemp Products

Sun God Medicinals, a Southern Oregon infused-herb manufacturer, announced a rebranding of their olive oil packaging that showcases their new certification as USDA Organic in December 2018.

The creators of Aja Infused Olive Oil, Heka Infused Olive Oil, and Hercules Infused Olive Oil have taken their organic hemp-infused olive oils and combined them with beneficial herbs to be used as topicals for the skin.

The product’s extra virgin olive oil is infused with CBD-rich, full-spectrum, whole plant hemp oil grown organically in Southern Oregon, plus a variety of supporting herbs for specific topical applications. Each one fluid ounce/30 ml bottle is a specially-formulated skin care product rich in antioxidants and full of nutrients for the skin, plus it contains 250 mg total cannabidiol (CBD). This product is only available in OLCC-licensed retail cannabis stores.

“Our facilities and herbal products have been certified organic since 2016 and now we are pleased to release our hemp products as certified organic as well,” said Brie Malarkey, founder and CEO of Sun Breeze, Inc., which owns the Sun God Medicinals brand. “Our company’s strong commitment to manufacturing with the health of the end-user in mind has solidified our brand’s position in Oregon as a leading producer of premium infused-herbal products. We’ve already seen a fantastic reception from the marketplace with marked sales increases.”

Using the highest quality hemp and manufacturing with proprietary extraction equipment, Sun God Medicinals continues to build on its reputation as an innovative, dependable, compliance-focused company, with new, redesigned packaging that includes child-lock technology, airtight seals, and compliance features to exceed regulatory requirements in Oregon.

“At the first of the year we will be releasing our certified organic hemp and herbal tinctures, as well,” said Brie, who spearheaded the company’s organic certification. “We are pleased our certifying agency, Oregon Tilth, finally agreed to let us certify our hemp products.”
