Makes approximately 30 cookies
1stick organic unsalted butter, softened (4 oz)
2/3 cup light brown sugar, packed (5.5 oz)
10 droppers hemp extract
1 large organic egg
½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Stir together in a large bowl and set aside.
1 cup organic all-purpose flour
½ teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
¼ teaspoon salt
1 ½ cups organic rolled oats
¾ cup organic raisins
½ cup walnuts (chopped—optional)
Preheat oven to 325°F.
Beat together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add in egg, vanilla and hemp extract. Mix well. Add dry ingredients and mix until incorporated. Add raisins (and walnuts). Stir well.
Scoop out using ice cream scoop or large spoon and place 2 inches apart on parchment-lined baking sheet. Flatten slightly and bake at 325°F for 14 to 16 minutes. Transfer to rack and let cool completely before storing airtight—will stay fresh 3 days.
Using Flora’s Hemp Extract 500: 1 dropper = 16 mg of CBD. This recipe makes approx. 30 cookies – 30 x 5 mg = 150. 150 mg/16 = 9 droppers. Remember, some extract will cook off, so Flora says put in 10! (If the dough is a little too wet, just add a bit more oats.)
